A native of Tallahassee, Florida, Brett began his acting career in the year 2000 acting in several films at the Florida State University Motion Picture Conservatory. One year later Brett attended the same film school that had given him his acting start. After completing a Master's degree in film production, Brett moved to Los Angeles, California where he pursued acting and continued to find success in short films as well as low budget features. His most recent success came in an independent feature film entitled The Myth of the American Sleepover, which won a special audience award for Best Ensemble Cast at SXSW, was an official selection for the Cannes Film Festival Critics Week program, and will be released by IFC in July 2011. With several upcoming projects in the mix, Brett continues to live and work in Los Angeles.
